The BDS course entails teaching for 4 years with annual university examinations & 1 year of full time compulsory rotatory internship.
We have a team of committed faculty members recruited as per Dental Council of India guidelines. Students are trained in all the subjects by impartingFrom the Desk of Principal theoretical, practical as well as clinical knowledge making them proficient at patient care. The college has modern classrooms with audiovisual aids.
The college follows a continuous and comprehensive evaluation methodology with regular theory & practical exams. The students are therefore well equipped to qualify the RUHS examination & also perform well at the NEET-PG examination.
The college has state of the art laboratories with up-to-date modern facilities to train students at par with the best. The college library is well equipped with reading material and digital learning aids to impart academic knowledge & enhance conceptual learning.
The college has an Auditorium with a capacity of approximately 500 which is equipped in modern amenities & also a Seminar Hall so that the students gain an added advantage through presentations and orations by eminent speakers.
The campus also houses the Principal bungalow, Staff quarters, separate Girls and Boys Hostels with all the essential facilities.

Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, a six decade and three generation old trust is an Educational trust that has carved a niche for itself in the state of Maharashtra today. This trust was founded by the great visionary, Honorable Late Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray with the devotional motto “Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay” was established in 1952. Together with another trust “Adivasi Seva Samiti” founded in 1945, it was aimed at providing the educational facilities to the masses from all spheres- urban, rural and tribal.
The inspiration, pioneering work and farsightedness of the founder laid down the foundation for the educational banyan tree in Nashik district with its branches spread all over, even in tribal areas. Keeping the ancestral goal in mind, the new generations are expanding the educational trust from basic to professional education leading to the new era of globalization.
Under the able guidance and with sustained endeavors of “ Samaj Shree Dr. Prashant Hiray” , Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir started Institute of Industrial & Pharmaceutical Technology at Nashik which proved the stepping stone for the cluster of professional colleges in the Nashik. This includes Institute of Management and Research, SPH College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. The feather in the cap is “KBH Dental College And Hospital” established in 1991.
Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir's KBH Dental College is the first self-financed unaided Dental College in the State of Maharashtra. It has grown leaps and bounds from the time of establishment. It has a provision for 100 BDS admissions in an academic year. We have 27 Post Graduate seats in 7 specialities of Dentistry. It is well known for the modern equipments and highly educated and skilled fleet of dentists in all the specialities. It has the state of the art infrastructure consisting of well-built class rooms, seminar halls, laboratories, auditorium, girl’s hostel, boy’s hostel and other facilities. The hospital boasts of a huge OPD of about a lakh patients in a year.
Today, the trust has taken over “Raj Rejeshwari Dental College & Hospital” in Udaipur, Rajasthan with the professional vision and blessings of great visionary Late Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray. Under the able management and guidance of Dr. Prashant Hiray, Dr. Apoorva Hiray & Mr. Advay Hiray will for sure take this institute to glorious heights and provide health services to mass population. At Present Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir runs 11 professional colleges, 10 non-professional colleges, 17 Junior Colleges, 31 Secondary Schools, 10 Primary Schools. About 80,000 students from primary to post graduate have been availing themselves of these educational facilities in M.G.V. and more than 4000 Teachers & Non Teaching personnel are eaming their livehood through these institutions. Where as “Adivasi Seva Samiti” runs 7 primary schools, 13 secondary schools, 2 junior colleges, 1 Senior College, 2 agriculture schools, 18 primary Ashram Schools, 17 Secondary Ashram Schools and 60 Hostels for Girls & Boy’s in rural areas of Nashik district as well as at Dhule, Raigarh and Thane Districts of Maharashtra. About 20,000 tribal students have been availing themselves of these educational and boarding facilities in Adivasi Seva Samiti.
